Karen Finley – Sunset on Yom Kippur: Atonement, Abstraction and Improvisation
Looking at the current exhibit, From the Vault, Finley will focus on the lens of abstraction as a pathway to a spiritual connection, speaking to specific works and artists in the exhibit such as Krasner and Gottlieb. Accompanying Finley will be jazz flutist Paul Nebenzahl who will improvise on the traditional musical themes from the Yom Kippur service and improvise to artworks in the exhibit.
